Thank you for checking out John Nikas Photography. Currently a resident of Clemmons, NC, I was born and grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. To me they are the same place and I consider them both my home.  I first became interested in photography during my first trip abroad to Greece as a student at The Ohio State University.  I still have the Canon A1 film camera I shot with on that trip.  I have always been drawn to photography in my spare time,  but only recently have I endeavored to pursue photography as a profession and even more seriously as a hobby.  It may be bad timing for me with the advent of AI, but here I am.  I am always working on my skills and growing, as growth is an essential component of the act of being and becoming a photographer.
